Kathmandu Valley holds seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites within a few kilometres of each other, and this private day tour visits the four most essential: Pashupatinath Temple, the most sacred Hindu temple complex in Nepal; Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world and the heart of Kathmandu's Tibetan community; Swayambhunath (the "Monkey Temple"), an ancient hilltop stupa overlooking the whole valley; and Kathmandu Durbar Square, the historic royal palace complex.
