Trek the Himalaya with TrekVibe Nepal
A Kathmandu-based trekking agency taking you from Everest Base Camp to the hidden valleys of Upper Dolpo — guided by certified local experts who know these trails as home.
Why Trek With Us
Built by people who actually walk these trails
TrekVibe Nepal is run out of Kathmandu by a team that treats every itinerary as if we were sending our own family up the trail.
Local, Licensed Guides
Every trek is led by a government-licensed guide born and raised in the region you're walking through — not a subcontracted crew.

Frequently asked questions
No — treks like Ghorepani Poon Hill, Mardi Himal and Langtang Valley are graded easy to moderate and are regularly completed by first-time trekkers. For challenging routes like Everest Base Camp or the Annapurna Circuit, good general fitness (regular hiking, running or cardio training beforehand) is recommended rather than technical climbing experience.
Most nationalities can get a visa on arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu — you'll need a passport valid for at least 6 months, a passport photo, and the visa fee in cash or card (15/30/90-day options). Check your specific nationality's requirements before you fly.
Yes, for every trek we operate. Your policy must cover high-altitude trekking up to the maximum elevation of your route and include emergency helicopter evacuation — this is non-negotiable for restricted-area and high-pass treks like Manaslu, Mustang and Dolpo.
Our standard departures run with 2–12 trekkers, and we also arrange fully private trips for solo travelers, couples and families. Restricted-area treks (Manaslu, Upper Mustang, Dolpo) require a minimum of two trekkers by Nepali government regulation.
Teahouses are small family-run lodges found along most trekking routes, offering twin-share rooms, hot meals and (at lower altitudes) hot showers and Wi-Fi for a small fee. Rooms are simple and unheated except for a communal dining stove — a warm sleeping bag is essential.
We require a deposit to confirm your booking, with the balance payable in Kathmandu before departure or by bank transfer in advance. Contact us through the trip planner form for current payment options.
Yes — most of our packages can be shortened, extended, combined with another region, or run as a fully private departure with flexible dates. Use our trip planner form to describe what you have in mind and we'll respond with a tailored proposal.
