For trekkers who want the full Annapurna experience, this combined itinerary links the gentle, forested trails and iconic sunrise of Ghorepani Poon Hill with the deeper, higher journey into the Annapurna Sanctuary to Annapurna Base Camp. The extra days built into this route give better acclimatization than a standalone ABC trek and let you experience a wider range of landscapes, from subtropical river valleys to high glacial moraine at the foot of Annapurna I.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1
Drive to Nayapul, trek to Tikhedhunga
Drive from Pokhara to the trailhead and trek to Tikhedhunga (1,540 m).
Day 2
Trek to Ghorepani
Climb through rhododendron forest to Ghorepani (2,860 m).
Day 3
Poon Hill sunrise, trek to Tadapani
Sunrise hike to Poon Hill, then continue to Tadapani.
Day 4
Trek to Chhomrong
Descend and climb to Chhomrong (2,170 m), gateway to the Sanctuary.
Day 5
Trek to Bamboo/Dovan
Descend into the Modi Khola gorge toward Bamboo or Dovan.
Day 6
Trek to Deurali
Continue climbing through forest and avalanche zones to Deurali (3,230 m).
Day 7
Trek to Annapurna Base Camp
Pass Machhapuchhre Base Camp to reach Annapurna Base Camp (4,130 m).
Day 8
Descend to Bamboo
Long descent back down the gorge.
Day 9
Trek to Jhinu Danda
Continue descending to Jhinu Danda; relax in the natural hot springs.
Day 10
Trek to Nayapul, drive to Pokhara
Final descent to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara.
Day 11
Contingency / Pokhara leisure day
Buffer day for weather delays, or free time in Pokhara.
